Hot Trend: Celebs in Wigs

Megan Fox wears a cropped wig on the cover of the June/July issue of Interview. “In places like New York and L.A., they know that you live there and that you’re trying to disguise yourself, so people are always looking,” says Fox. “It’s almost better to not wear a hat and glasses.”

On Thursday, Katy Perry wore this bright purple wig during the “Germany’s Next Top Model finale.”

And just last weekend, she rocked this blue wig at the MTV Movie Awards for a performance of her new song, “Califoria Gurls.”

Jessica Simpson’s hair stylist/best friend Ken Paves recently Tweeted two photos of Jessica Simpson with short wigs from his line of faux hair products.

Wendy Williams is proud of her wig collection. She has a total of fourteen custom-made wigs that cost around $2,500 each.

The Kardashian sisters all donned blonde wigs for a recent Beach Bunny bikini photo shoot. Khloe, who took this photo of Kourtney for her blog said, “I felt very Lady Gaga with that ‘do, especially since we weren’t wearing any pants LOL.”

Last fall, Tyra put an end to the mystery that was her hair live on her TV show. “I’ve worn weaves and wigs and pieces and clip-ons and clip outs, and clip-downs and arounds since I was 17 or 18 years old, and I wanted to show the real me, and I wanted to show the raw me,” she said. “I know y’all thought I was bald-headed under there!”

“Saturday Night Live” star Kenan Thompson hilariously imitated Reba McEntire at the CMT Music Awards this week, complete with red wig.
