The cover of the official wedding program â€“ or programme, as the British call it â€“ for the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William has been revealed, you areÂ be able to download a copy free for yourself by clicking here.
The booklet, which will contain a personal message of thanks from Prince William and Kate Middleton, will be handed out along the processional route by a team of military cadets and Explorer Scouts.
Only 150,000 copies will be up for grabs due to the logistics of distributing it.The white A5 guide, created in the classic style of an official royal wedding programme, features William’s coat of arms on the front with, in red ink, the words “The Royal Wedding” above and “Official Programme” below.
Miss Middleton’s new coat of arms will be on the back.
The Ceremonial, the Marriage Service and the Procession are “published by Gracious Permission of Her Majesty The Queen”.
The souvenir program cover features Prince William’s Coat of Arms on the front and Middleton’s new coat of arms on the back.
Inside will be a special look at the April 29 wedding day, from the full Order of Service that guests lucky enough to be inside Westminster Abbey will use, to a personal message of thanks from the couple, to a never-before-seen photo of the royal pair taken by photographer Mario Testino.
Similar programs were created to mark the weddings of The Prince and Princess of Wales in 1981 and The Duke and Duchess of York in 1986.
